Fidel’s is a vibrant cocina, rooted in the heart of downtown Palisade, where you come for good food and a good time. We aim to create an exceptional experience for our guests from beginning to end! We are in need of someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

As host, you are responsible for welcoming all customers and ensuring they are seated in a timely manner. As the first face guests see upon entering the restaurant you will play an important role in setting the tone for the guests dining experience. Primary responsibilities include:

-Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant

- Manage reservations

-Review online reservation software throughout the shift

- Guide guests to their table

- Give guests accurate wait time estimates

- Provide customers with menus and answering any additional questions

- Optimize seating at different tables and sections to even the workload for wait staff

- Answer phone and assist with questions regarding current wait times or reservations

- Schedule reservations

- Maintain and monitor waitlist

- Assist wait staff as needed

Requirements

· Ability to stand continuously up to 8 hours

· Previous customer service experience

· Previous host/restaurant experience preferred
